Employee Spotlight: Jackie Miller, Customer Service Representative
Jackie Miller is a Customer Service Representative at Record Storage Systems. In this role, she is responsible for providing a variety of customer support services through email, telephone, and direct contact. If you’re a customer, chances are you’ve had the pleasure of speaking with Jackie once or twice!
How long have you worked at Record Storage Systems?
I’ve been with Record Storage Systems 18 years and will be celebrating 19 years on August 2, 2018.
What aspect of your role as a Customer Service Representative do you enjoy the most?
I enjoy talking to the customer and helping them solve concerns or issues. We handle a variety of customer requests, including new client setup, record recall, scan on demand, and in-person customer reviews (this is where a customer can come review the inventory of boxes/records that they have here in storage with us). My coworkers in the Customer Service department are the best! It’s not easy being in an office full of women, but we make it work well together.
When you think back on your years at Record Storage Systems, what is your favorite memory?
I remember back when we had our first company cookout. We ALL pitched in and worked together to make it a success. It was such a memorable day to share with coworkers and a great opportunity to get to know people in the office that we don’t see every day.
What’s the best advice anyone has ever given you?
Believe in yourself and trust God!
How do you define success?
By having God, family, and friends who mean the world to you by your side, the unconditional love and support, good health — and sure, having a few million dollars in the bank wouldn’t hurt!
If you could have dinner with anyone, who would it be and why?
I would have dinner with family members that I have lost. For the impact and influence they had on my life, I’d like to thank them for all they did for me and my family and let them know that their wisdom didn’t fall on deaf ears. I carry them always in my heart.
